Rich Mozack
Rich Mozack is an accomplished Fortune 500 Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Technology expert leading IT strategy, innovation, retail transformation, and tactical change initiatives that contribute to corporate competitiveness and growth. Hub International
Rich was most recently Chief Information Officer at Hub International, a $2.5 billion Insurance Brokerage. At Hub, he led all IT strategy, technology transformation, and IT services across the company. He was a change agent for the transformation of the IT organization from a traditional, on-premise service organization, to a cloud-based broker of technology services with a focus on delivering new, transformative technology capabilities. Rich managed a budget of $100 million with 100 full-time staff and over 50 contractors. During his tenure, he reorganized IT to improve delivery and drive innovation all while recruiting new leadership to drive a culture of accountability and customer service. He defined the strategy and created and executed a plan to move Hub’s entire suite of application to the cloud within 18 months. Additionally, he drove a program that achieved a $4 million annual revenue increase with the implementation of a white label insurance platform for Hub’s Canadian personal lines business, saved $5 million annually, improved systems availability by implementing a new, multi-technology-wide area network, and improved IT service levels by 40% from 2016 to 2019.
Kohl’s Department Stores
Prior to his role at Hub International, Rich was the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Kohl’s Department Stores managing a $375 million budget, 1,700 contracts, and 7 direct reports with 800 full-time staff. He partnered with executive management to define the business/technology strategy and prioritize investments accordingly. Rich led several transformation programs, most notably in merchandising where Oracle enterprise systems were implemented and in marketing where leading-edge customer analytics, campaign management, and content management were rolled out to enable Kohl’s’ personalization initiative. He was one of the key executives in the development and execution of Kohl’s’ omni-channel strategy. Rich was also critical to the success of the re-platform of their eCommerce website solution and led the migration of its hosting from being internally supported to an outsourced managed service. Additionally, he spearheaded the implementation of new store servers and enterprise network architecture and led the maturation of the Information security program and reported progress to the board quarterly. Over the course of his tenure at Kohl’s, Rich brought leading edge technologies to IT storage systems, online purchasing, disaster recovery, retail management, retail pricing, customer enterprise analytics, and he addressed IT spend issues improving cost savings by $13 million annually.
Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc.
As Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc., Rich excelled in leading ongoing improvements and optimization of all IT functions. Upon the acquisition of Spiegel Management Group, he developed and executed integration strategies in alignment with the existing legacy environment. During his time at Eddie Bauer, Rich managed an $86 million budget and 300 employees. Rich evaluated outsourcing opportunities that resulted in contract renegotiations, vast improvements in cost savings, and an innovative sourcing collaboration. He also led IT services conversions of 400 stores improving a new website buying conversion by 15% and reducing in-store IT applications costs by 25%.
Spiegel Management Group
During his time at Spiegel Management Group, Rich contributed to the growth of the company’s IT initiatives through technology advancements and improved service levels as he advanced through 6 positions. His budget management responsibilities ranged from $40 million to $80 million while leading staffs of up to 230 employees.

Prior to joining Spiegel Management Group, Rich held positions at IBM in Illinois and Virginia as a Development Engineer for 2 years, Systems Engineer for 6 years, and Advisory Marketing Specialist for 1 year.
Education and Personal
Rich holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He currently provides volunteer IT services to a nonprofit organization and resides in the greater Chicagoland area.
